Here Are A few Much Needed Facts To Be " Put Out There, In Society " and simple terms relating STiGMa and How It Affects Those Who Have Mental Health Issues. When I was diagnosed Paranoid Schizophrenic I was overwhelmed by the Fact I Would Have to Live With A Serious Mental Illness And try Fight at Times in life To Overcome it, BUT little did I realize That with The Illness that Hung heavy on my soul, Id also be spending the rest of my life struggling and feeling the oppression and heavy burden of Stigma which was part of the package when diagnosed with a mental illness, NOW?? I manage my illness as best as i can, i have NO SHAME nor do i mind talking openly to others for being a paranoid schizophrenic, and if anyone has the right to take the piss out of this illness its ME! .. People have called me so many names and tainted my life with ignorant myths in regard to my illness.. anyway,, LASTLY: 99.9% of schizophrenics are NOT a danger to others, But more so to themselves, and if anything statistics show that schizophrenics are likely to be a victim of a crime due to vulnerability, than to commit a crime themselves.. oh and we are NOT jekyll and hyde..thats split personality which is a separate diagnosis

TAKE A MINUTE TO READ THESE FEW SIMPLE FACTS ABOUT STIGMA>> I JUST WANTED TO SEE IF PEOPLE REALIZE EXACTLY HOW BAD STIGMA AFFECTS THOSE OF US THAT ALREADY HAVE TO DEAL WITH SERIOUS MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES ON A DAILY BASIS, AND ITS IN SIMPLE TERMS UNNECESSARY FOR THE ARCHAIC VIEW AND MYTHS SURROUNDING MENTAL HEALTH, IN THIS DAY AND AGE.". Prejudice Is Ignorance "[M. Jackson] Maybe people just dont want to have to deal with it, because emotionally and mentally they themselves are getting overwhelmed by the pressures of this ever increasing chaotic life we live in..... People Blank Out their emotions.. and technology has helped them switch off completely on a emotionally scale and immerse themselves totally into virtual worlds..be it TV Soaps, to even the Ads, Games Consoles, Computers, high tech mobile phones, the World Wide Web, where anything and everything is possible, HUMANS HAVE SWITCHED OFF THEIR EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL SENSES AND IMMERSED THEMSELVES INTO TECHNOLOGY.. AS A WAY TO ESCAPE... SO WHY DO I WONDER WHY MOST PEOPLE DONT WISH TO HEAR OR BEGIN TO TRY UNDERSTAND AND EDUCATE THEMSELVES ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH,, WHEN THEY ARE SO SELF DE-TACHED FROM THEMSELVES EMOTIONALLY ANYWAY....
