Browsing On Youtube i stumbled across a lecture by a Dr on the facts of Schizophrenics and Violence..

I must say, i was shocked at this man ,,a professional in psychiatryrambling on some archaic myth that made out schizophrenics are dangerous people and most of them always show signs of Violence,
Logically thinking about the whole thing..this Dr is merely talking in a conference about his "personal" concept in the matter, and its is just a theory..its unfounded.. and not suprisingly ignorant and prejuiced all the way.. Well i shouldnt have expected a Dr in the mental health profession to be unbiased and obviously from personal experience has suffered by the hands of some poor person going through a psychotic episode, merely to his personal judgement and probable lack of a bed side manner.. so why should i be shocked Statistics show that STIGMA is most Rife ....actually within the mental health profession and general enviroment within hospitals and private clinics.. Yes i agree that the media have been kind enough to let people openly discuuss mental illness, even with celebrities.. but they only seem to cover 3 forms of mental illness.. Bi-Polar, OCD, Depression,, when i say depression i mean the general experience of the illnes.. but the more serious diagnosis of depression is in fact Clinical Depession where an idividual suffers in the same way as general depressive person.. but general often after taking a short course of medication ..do recover..clinical depression is a different diagnosis and usually the individual suffering from it..more often than not will have to take medication for the rest of their life..anyway back to the popular mental illnesses the media have given like i said has  OCD, Bi-Polar, and depression, and have been more open about the life of young people self harming... 

BUT I CAN HONESTLY SAY AND IM PROBABLY 100% ACCURATE ON THIS THE DIAGNOSIS OF PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIA, OR SCHIZOPHRENIA, ALONG WITH SCIZO AFFECTIVE DISORDER.. ARE OR NEVER HAVE BEEN OPENLY AND HONESTLY ADDRESSED BY THE PRESS OR MEDIA.. IT SEEMS WE SCHIZOPHRENICS HAVE BEEN LEFT BEHIND LIVING IN THE ARCHAIC ASYLUMS AND TREATED THIS DAY AND AGE,, JUST AS BADLY AS 100 YEARS AGO..  STILL PERFORMING  LABOTAMY`S AND E.C.T WHICH IS ELECTRIC SHOCK TREAMENT.. BOTH OF WHICH ARE PERFORMED ON A DAILY BASIS.. BOTH CAME ABOUT IN THE 19TH CENTURY AS METHODS TO SUBDUE A PATIENT.. BOTH BARBARIC AND BRUTAL  AND IN NO WAY NESSASRY IN THIS DAY AND AGE.. THEY HAVE NO FUNDAMENTAL..GROUNDS ON ANY KIND OF TREATMENT FOR DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS, FROM ECT TO MEDICATION..IT A GAME AND A GAMBLE ON TRYING DIFFERENT MEDICATION UNTIL ONE TYPE OF MEDICATION SEEMS TO HAVE THE MOST POSITIVE OUTCOME.. THE WHOLE PSYCHIATRIC CONCEPT AND PRACTISE .. IS ALL PRACTISED BY THEORY ALONE..THERE IS NO WRITTEN MATTERS ON THE SUBJECTS.. AND MOST TREATMENT IS HIT AND MISS.. I HAD ECT.. I DIDNT SIGN A CONSENT FORM NOR DID I WANT TO PARTAKE IN IT..BUT AS I WAS ON A SECTION 3 ..MY SAY AND PREFERENCE MEANT NOTHING AS THAT SECTION ALLOWS THE PSYCHIATRIST TO DO WHAT EVER HE DEEMS WORTHY OF A TRY..WHICH IS FRIGHTENING..AS IN THAT ASPECT,,IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT,,YOUR LIFE IN THEIR HANDS LITERALLY.. I HAD A TOTAL OFOVER 35 SESSIONS OF ECT OVER THE YEARS IN TWO DIFFERENT HOSPITALS.. I DIDNT WANT IT ..BUT IT WAS OUT OF MY HANDS..IF YOU EVER HAVE TIME AND INTERESTED IN THE SUBJECT OF ECT..GO DO SOME SEARCHING ONLINE..AND YOU WILL COME ACROSS ORGANISATIONS PUT IN PLACE JUST TO DEAL WITH AND SUPPORT "VICTIMS" OF THE PROCEDURE..ANYWAY ..MAYBE ANOTHER RANT ATTACK HAS TAKEN PLACE DONE BY MY OWN HAND.. After listening to this man speaking about schizophrenia or paramois schizophrenia.. Contrary to his notions of the facts is that 99.9% of people who are diagnosed and are suffering as a result, never cause harm nor show any violence of any kind.. if there is anger and rage within that person yet again 99% proceed to take it out on THEMSELVES. His whole look and insight and the way this man describes violence is a part of schizophrenia is unfounded information, and personally those who suffer from this illnes are passive and living in a world so far from our own.. Media \hype sensationalise in the news etc are so quick to let people know that an individual has been attacked by a schizophrenic..How often does this type of information given on the news and other media.?  im 46 yrs old and over the yrs have only seen a handful of incidents... Its about time that the media take responsiblity ..if they are going to go public in regards to a certain event ivolving someone with unusual and erratic behaviour..and resulted in physcial altercation they are also obligated in a moral sense to make known to the public that those indivduals ..are yes, in mental breakdown and psychosis is noticed immediately ..the 0.1% of them..... are people who have either slipped through the net, and never actually been assessed in any way ,,recieve no support and not part of mental healthcare.. those who are in the system who have a random act of a violent nature, are in that frame of mind due to the INCOMPETANCE of the healthcare he is legally entitled to.. and finds his community nurse unable to take in hand the situation and fail to notice warning signs are complacent in their role as a healthcare provider, in general, the individual is not getting the level of care and if nessary be admitted wen warning signs appear..then the incident would never taken place.. one other way to look at it... is...people in the world are victims of violence most ly by the hands of a average person who plans to do harm, is invilved in violence as a result of alcohol intake.and 75% of domestic abuse takes place when the partner he/she has drank a high volume of alcohol.
If a Person be it a doctor or consultant even plus the nursing staff on the wards and in the community are ever openly giving this kind of information in public and covered by the media..

SICK ARCHAIC STIGMA..AND ATTITUDES LIKE THIS MIS-LEAD THE GENERAL PUBLIKE AND SOCIET AS A WHOLE..FILLING THEIR HEADS WITH THESE LIES AND MYTHS OF ARCHAIC NATURE.. Oh one last thing.. STIGMA .. did you know that the area in life where stigma towards ppl with MH issues ..is most rife ..is in the Mental Health System itself.. .and is the core of the whole problems that stigma imposes upon the vunerable
